What is the Energy Leadership Assessment?

The Energy Leadership™ Index (ELI) is a research-backed assessment tool that measures someone's attitude, how they view the world and lead themselves and others. It takes this abstract thing of "how someone sees the world" and turns it into a tangible, measurable thing that one can learn from and improve on.

If you want to truly improve the way you live and work, you want to take this assessment

so you can dive into learning more about how you show up, your A.R.L. and how to raise it.

Those with higher A.R.L.s are statistically more satisfied with all aspects of their lives—from relationships and personal freedom to communication skills and leadership ability.

How is This Different From Other Assessments?

Personality tests like Myers Briggs, DiSC, and Enneagram all help you understand your strengths, embrace your weaknesses, and discover how you can work to your full potential.

In that way, they typically support a “work with what you have” approach to adapting your behavior and pursuing personal excellence.

The ELI, on the other hand, is an attitudinal assessment tool that captures how an individual currently perceives and approaches work and life.

With the awareness and insights gained through the Energy Leadership Index debrief, clients have the opportunity to reshape their attitudes and worldview and “transform who they are.”

The Energy Leadership™ Index assessment can be given at the start of a coaching relationship and as a regular follow up assessment to provide tangible, research-backed ROI data for any coaching engagement.

*This description comes from The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). ELI Assessments are only offered by iPEC Certified Coaches and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioners like Ang.

The Benefits

Become more aware of Catabolic and Anabolic Energy so you can be more intentional about how you show up and create extraordinary results in all areas of your life.

What's the difference between catabolic and anabolic energy?

You’re probably very familiar with catabolic energy. Think of the person who is always in a bad mood and creates tension or issues wherever they go. That’s catabolic energy working. It's the energy of worry, frustration, and blame. It can be very destructive and if left unchecked can create a depressing, toxic environment.

On the other hand, anabolic energy is constructive and fuels creativity. Think of those that uplift and inspire others to do extraordinary things, that's anabolic energy working. Those operating at an anabolic range influence positive outcomes and create incredible change within every area of their life. ~*iPEC

The more you become aware of what triggers certain kinds of energy for you and how you're truly showing up, the more intentional you can be about creating the results you desire.
